Strawberry Cheesecake in a Jar

I made these cute no-bake strawberry cheesecakes in a jar last year and they came out as cute as can be.  I found the recipe here on Allrecipes.com.  I added an extra layer of strawberries in the middle and they were delicious. These would be perfect for Valentine's Day or any time of the year.  Hope you enjoy!

Peanut Butter Banana Protein Bars

I just made this recipe for the first time and my son liked these.  He liked them even better after he made a breakfast cereal out of them by crumbling a few up into a bowl and pouring some milk over it.  He said it kept him feeling full for hours .  I guess it was the protein powder in them.  I have already made a second batch of them to keep on hand for a quick breakfast.  I like the fact that they are homemade with healthy ingredients and no added sugar.  I found this recipe here at Allrecipes.com

Granola Bars

I have tried a few different granola bar recipes and these are my favorite so far.  I found the original recipe on Allrecipes.com but I made a couple changes to it.  My version will be at the bottom of this post but for the original recipe you can click here.  I found the original recipe to be a bit too sweet so I made them again and reduced the amount of sugar.  My family is not wild about raisins so I substituted Craisins dried cranberries in place of them.  The Craisins add a little bit of tartness to these granola bars that I prefer over regular raisins. These bars are great to wrap up to take with you for healthy snack to eat on the go.

Gourmet Chicken Ranch Pizza

My family loved this pizza.  I used a deli rotisserie chicken and that made this even easier to make.  This is based on a recipe I found on Allrecipes.com.   The original recipe uses a refrigerated pizza dough crust but I made my own pizza crust.  The original recipe can be found by clicking here .

Healthy Banana Oatmeal Bars

I love the fact that these healthy wholesome bars contain no added sugar but still taste great!  Very moist and full of healthy ingredients.  These make a great snack bar or a quick breakfast to take on the go.  I used dried cranberries but you could always substitute raisins instead.

Hot Italian Sausage and Shrimp with Asiago Grits

I just loved this dish!  I had tried something similar to this at a restaurant and this recipe is pretty close.  I found this recipe on my favorite cooking website Allrecipes.com .   I didn't have any tomatoes on hand so I left those out and I used Johnsonville's Mild Italian sausage instead of the hot sausage but otherwise I followed the original recipe.  I really liked the way the grits with Asiago cheese compliments this dish.  It was a big hit with the husband too.
