I just love this super easy and convenient spaghetti dinner. This is really quick and simple to make and my family loved the delicious creamy sauce. This was the first time that I had used the Pronto spaghetti by Barilla. What I find is so convenient about this product is that it is not necessary to boil the pasta in a separate pot. Everything cooks in one large skillet and there is no need to drain the pasta and that makes it super easy to clean up afterward. Plus I also liked that the spaghetti comes in a shorter length that makes it easy to fit in the pot and also makes it easier to eat!
Only a handful of ingredients are used to make this delicious easy meal: Spaghetti, marinara sauce, parmesan cheese, heavy cream and some fresh basil.
Just dump the spaghetti into a large skillet. Pour 3 cups of cold water over the spaghetti making sure the liquid covers the pasta. Turn the burner on high and set a timer for 10 minutes. Stir a few times while it is cooking.
After about 10 minutes all the liquid will be absorbed and it will look like this. Then just add the marinara sauce and cream until heated thru. Top with parmesan cheese and chopped basil and enjoy!
